Jag kommer tävla med Eva Nyström. Vi kommer möta både mix, dam och herr lag, i samma klass. Det kommer att bli tufft. Men faktum är att det finns inte många svenska multisport killar som skulle vara ett bättre alternativ till Eva, då alla de grenarna ingår, med så mycket simning som det är.
Course Description
Race Day 1 - Royal Belum Tuesday, 2 November Race Start: 9:00am at
Belum Rainforest Resort
1. Run 2.3km to Banding Bridge to abseil section.
2. Abseil 26m to the lake and swim 100m to kayak put-in.
3. Kayak 6.5km to the trail run section in Royal Belum.
4. Run 1km in the rainforest and return to kayak.
5. Kayak again 4.5km to the kayak drop-off.
6. Run to the bike transition area.
7. Cycle 6km on-road, turn into off-road section. Cycle 2km downhill and u-turn back 2km uphill. An aid station will be at the u-turn point.
8. Return to the road and cycle back to the bike transition area.
9. Change to in-line skates and skate downhill to Banding bridge.
10. Skate across the bridge to run transition area.
11. Run 1.8km to finish at the Belum Rainforest Resort.

Course Description
Race Day 2 - Taiping to Kuala Sepetang Wednesday, 3 November
Race Start: 11:00am at Taiping Zoo
1. Skate 4km around the Taiping Lake Gardens (flat road with a few speed humps).
2. Transit to run, one round at Taiping Lake Gardens (same route as in-line skate).
3. Run to river rock scrambling for 1.3km and proceed to Bukit Larut (Maxwell Hill). Run on-road and off-road up hill 4.3km to the waterfall.
4. Abseil down 25m follow by roping down to river rock scrambling 50m.
5. Out of the river and run 300m to the bike transition. An aid station will be at the transition area.
6. Cycle 16km on-road and then turn off to an 8km on and off-road route to the kayak put-in.
7. Kayak 5.5km pass a fishermen village to Kuala Sepetang.
8. Kayak pass the Kuala Sepetang jetty for 1km and u-turn back to the jetty to the end kayak section.
9. Run 1km on the boardwalk passing mangrove to finish.

Race Day 4 - Gua Tempurung Saturday, 5 November
Race Start: 8:30am at Gua Tempurung.
1. Cycle 12km on-road and turn into dirt section 8km.
2. Go up hill for 3.5km. 2km of technical route and then go down hill (on-road) 2.5km until the raft section.
3. One raft for each team with a river guide. Raft 8.3km to Camp Murni. An aid station will be there.
4. Remove life jacket and run 10.5km on dirt road passing villages to the caving section.
5. Cave 2km with head lamp or torch light in small river to finishing line in front of the cave.

Race Day 5 - Pasir Salak to Pangkor Island Sunday, 6 November
Race Start: 8:00am at Pasir Salak Museum
1. Cycle 17km on-road and turn into paddy fields 5km. Turn out to the main highway and cycle 41km all the way to Teluk Batek where the kayak put-in. An aid station will be at the kayak put-in point.
2. Kayak 3.9km open sea to Pangkor island
3. Abseil 60m down a hillside at Teluk Segadas.
4. Run 250m on the beach and turn into a 800m trail. Come out of village road and pass the busy Pangkor town road of 5.2km. There will be a water station before the turn off to the killing hill section.
5. Run 4.5km up the killing hill to the main road and transition area.
6. Team biathlon takes place with a local bike (free size) for 4.5km to race finish line.
